We need Steve job back Tim Cook is good but in the leat 4 years Apple is scandal like iPhone software made to break phones and $1000 phone wtf and this come on Apple learn from Steve job please no more Skechers things please but got the 2017 Mac Pro touch bar love nothing break perfect laptop worth the price tho
for first 6 month , i really really love my macbook pro 2016 keyboard,, and for now , the keyboard slowly getting weird , and i know about another people feel about this keyboard too..
for people who really like it , becareful because there will be your keyboard failure come soon too !!!for people who already at failure iteration, we hope for apple recall the keyboard,,, actually for 2016 macbook pro ,apple already recall for battery replacement ,,but for keyboard nothing recall
for apple ,macbook 1st gen butterfly keyboard also defective , but because the segment of user is not wide, this issues can fly away. but for macbook pro version if you not recall the keyboard , this will be a big issues , because macbook pro segment user is a lot more than macbook .
remember apple , you are not xiaomi , because you are on really high price tag, people expect the tech will be great ,or at least good, not bad , if you are not listen to your own consumer , people will slowly migrate to other laptop brand , because high price tag of mac , give a lot of option out there , there are also Dell XPS, HP Elite, Gigabyte Aero , loose your loyal consumer means also loose your quality reputation !
im also former user of iPhone 4 and Macbook Pro 2012. and i think so far i loyal enough to apple.
I use my macbool pro 2016 mode more like a desktop so its hooked up to my 5K thunderbolt monitor most of the time but when i do go portable keyboard seems fine
Yeah, I purchased a 2016 Model Mac Book Pro and less then a month later my G and H keys because messed up. For the keys to work properly I had to press very hard on the keys. To fix this problem I popped off the guys and placed a thin piece of aluminum foil. It's a weird trick but it worked. Only down side is that the G and H keys are slightly raised. You can only tell if you are looking for the problem.
I had this issue in my MacBook Pro 2016 13” model I thought it might be not an issue continuously I’m having still now not all the keys but few keys
I had my keyboard for mbp 15" 2016 replaced three times. After it malfunctioned the third time, Norwegian consumer-law gives me the right to get the money back. I used my rights, purchased a 2017, and haven't had any problems since.
People will still buy them in fact they could sell potatoes people would buy them that's why they literally won't give a shit if some of their keyboards are defective
MBP 2017 I had problems with spacebar left side responded bad, right side responds ok and in the middle, I couldn't even push it…
Hardware has been going down hill, apple store reps don't give a $hit either. Since Apple released IOS to "preserve" my battery life and slow down my iPhone 6+ I have a whole new outlook on Apple. Cannot say I'll be purchasing any New Apple product's down the road
Nobody but Apple can turn the sound of cheap plastic on cheap plastic into “premium clickiness”.
one of the reasons im sticking with my 2015 model till it falls to bits.
One side of the spacebar does not un-click, is this the problem?
The apple keyboard sucks! Some keys just doesn't work!
Had mine replaced on my 2017 mbp. Then it came back with a new top case with another broken key… They are gonna fix it once again but due to studying i havent had the chance to bring it in.
I fixed laptop and computer while I was attending college until last December. About 7 people contacted me about spacebar poping out and keyboard failure. My 2015 mbps has no problem, but I knew this issue will someday surface. Can’t recommend mbpr. Unlike the older generations. The keyboard is not user replacible.
obsolete cheap foxcon trash for stupid american and around the world 😁😁😁😁😁
Want a real keyboard experience? Try a Thinkpad.
Mine broke at the end of last year, several keys just stopped. They ended up replacing the entire bottom case for me
My B key doesn't respond quickly i just bought my macbook pro touchbar and this problem just frustrates me
Mine was at apple retailer 4 times… keyboard, speaker, flickering screen… 🙁 MPB 2016 fully loaded
I Have a few issues with my 2017 MacBook Pro. When shaking it gently something inside shakes alongside with it creating a weird sound… My enter key is starting to break aswell. I Really don't like the Keyboard 😐
I had a problem in my 2016 Macbook Pro 13inch without Touch Bar. The missing folder icon appeared as I booted up. Even after some hard resets which proved to be ineffective I went to a authorised service provider since it was under warranty and got it fixed after replacement of a cable connector. Then a week later I found that my in-built camera was not working. I took it again to service provider but where they told once a repair is done till 30 days no other repairs can be performed. I was really disappointed by their reply. Since my one year limited warranty was ended before a week. I can't understand why should I pay for a repair that is caused due to faulty parts and which doesn't occur through external damage. I think apple should seriously revisit quality policies
got fully loaded MBP 13'' touchbar >$3000 … 'J' key failed in just a month. I'd press 'J' and multiple key presses would get registered, or none would… shameful on a $3000 piece of hardware
Lmao. I have the 2017 MacBook Pro and my I key got stuck.
My 2011 MacBook Pro is still going strong(:
and im sitting here with 2 broken speakers… and no apple store near … fck this i paid 4k for this machine which broke in 1 week-.-
They are shit, went back to my 2015 model. At least it works.
But but but but but that's why they have Apple care!!! Fucking ignorance and the air of arrogance results in idiots continuing to buy these over priced under spec'd pretty looking garage. Like I have been saying for years, simple toys for simple minds.
We recently bought 4 brand new Macbook Pros for employees. 3 of them have had keys fail (Tab, Space and Delete). 1 screen had a pink tinge (they replaced the display but it was still there, so they replaced the whole machine. It's replacement randomly flickers with a similar pink tinge – most likely a display card issue. These are top of the line… it's unbelievable.
That's what happens when a faggot [Tim cook] runs a company.
Got my new 13" MacBook Pro in October 2017 and have had some issues with the keyboard, mostly with the "L" key and the spacebar. They haven't failed completely but there have been numerous times that they stick and I have to repeatedly hit the key or spacebar over several times to get the affected key to work. Annoying to say the least. When I spend nearly $2500 for a computer that I've owned for less than 8 months, I don't expect the keys to stick. I hope that Apple will respond to the lawsuit with a permanent fix.
If this somehow ruined Apple, they could legitimately blame the butterfly effect on this one.
have an early MBP 2015 retina and recently had my "top case assembly" replaced from a Mobile Kangaroo shop. I noticed that at random, my trackpad would become unresponsive, cursor wouldnt move and could not press any keys on the keyboard, except for the power button. this would come and go for a couple weeks before it completely went out and was forced to replace the top case assembly which includes the keyboard, trackpad and new battery :<
