Buy it on Amazon – (affiliate link) – Nyko’s portable docking kit works as a lower cost alternative to Nintendo’s first party dock for the Switch. But the build quality needs some work. See more Nintendo Switch: and subscribe!

The dock accomplishes my goal of a lower cost connection to a television with the Switch. It’s $45 price tag is about half the price of the official Nintendo dock.
But the build quality is only so-so on it. It feels cheap and I’m concerned with its long term durability – especially for people who plan to travel with it.
But the price is reasonable especially because it comes with an AC adapter that powers the dock and console and has an 8 foot HDMI cable.
